Erase Image on a 800hd

If anyone can help, I have loaded an image on my box, which is probably the wrong image, i'm trying to replace with a new image. The problem there is an "error ca not found" coming on the box, the box is just hanging there, after flashing and i cnnot get any further with it. When i tried to change the skins it just went bellyup. I need to erase the images of the box, I don't have a clue how or what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated:confused:

Hubabuba, if the Dreambox is a clone then you have to install a special non-genuine image.

To get you out of your problems, you can try to reflash using the following procedure:

Unplug the power at the mains for 10/12 seconds. Reconnect and immediately press and hold the power button on the front of the box until you get the message stopped and an IP address is displayed on the LCD. If you are not fast enough pressing the power button, you will have to start again and get someone else to hold the power button while you reconnect the mains.

Enter the IP address in a web browser and reflashh with an image suitable for your 800HD.

If the above doesn't work, then find a door that wont stay open and use the box to hold it open.

get a null modem cable connect your pc to the box power up the box till you get an ip number then you can use that ip to connect with web interface con flash another image use the new dreamup version 1-3-3-9 if you use the right image you will be ok.
