Here is how i have setup my dreambox so i can save a movie to my pc hard disk and then play it back on tv...

FOLDERS ON PC TO CREATE

On the hard disk on my pc with the most space i created a file called
hdd (and made that a sharing folder)

then in that folder i created a folder called movie (and made that sharing)

Looks like this on pc drive................ J:\hdd\movie

NOW............

GO TO MOUNTS ON DREAMBOX FROM EXPERT SETUP

in the mounts i did this


IP 192.168.0.9 CIFS
Dir hdd
Local/Dir /hdd
Options rwnolock
Extra nolock.rsize=8192.wsize=8192
My pc logon name xxxxx
My pc logon password xxxxx
Ticked Auto Mount

Then i saved all that with yellow button (it saked me if i wanted to do another mount i said no) that takes you back to were you were before
then selected mount with the green button

I can now recored a film to pc hard drive and play it back by going in to file
on dreambox menu and looking for file in the movie folder

the pc has to be on all the time for you to do this
